3D Architectural Design

My design process is 3D first; we have an interactive design session where your entire home is 3D modelled and we then explore various options, roof types, materials etc. The 3D model is then digitally “sliced” in order to create the 2D plans. By working in this way, you will have a much clearer idea of how your home will ultimately look.

Planning Applications

Whether you’re allowed to extend your home; a formal application to the council complete with plans, elevations and 3D visuals. This is the initial step in the process, and covers the full design. Once completed, the council will then spend approximately 8 weeks determining the application, with the end goal being permission to build.

Building Regulations

After planning permission has been granted, the next step is Building Regulations, which covers how the works will be built. Covering everything from structural design, through to fire regs and even insulation – this is the final construction pack that the builder will use to quote, and then ultimately build from.
